Alan King

Alan focuses his practice on construction litigation, representing a wide range of contractors in a variety of trades. Alan also specializes in the area of personal injury, no-fault automobile insurance defense, and general civil litigation. He has achieved a number of successful outcomes for his clients in state district court and arbitration proceedings. Alan is licensed in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and federal district court-District of Minnesota.

After completing service in the U.S. Army, Alan lived in Los Angeles for three years. He also served as a commissioned officer in the California and Minnesota Army National Guards. Alan presently lives in the Twin Cities area with his family.

MY PHILOSOPHY

ALAN KING


For me, the practice of law is inherently tied to communicating and interacting with others. Whether it be opposing counsel, a judge, or even my own clients, the nature of my communications with others is extremely important towards setting the posture of each case. Often times, simply listening is the best communication.

Although I will not try every case, I approach each one as if it will be my next trial. To me, knowing that I have left no stone unturned gives me the satisfaction that I have provided my clients the representation they expect and deserve. That is why I enjoy litigating cases.

Miller (Hennepin County District Court, 2010), an automobile accident occurred when a vehicle in front of Mr. Begin stopped abruptly, causing Mr. Begin to stop, and Mr. Miller hit him from behind.
