Dan's practice is devoted to civil defense litigation. He also advises clients on questions of insurance coverage, contracts, and corporate issues. He handles all phases of litigation including motion practice, mediation, arbitration, and trial. Much of Dan's work has been in the construction litigation field, where he has represented general contractors, developers, and subcontractors on cases involving everything from single-family homes to multimillion dollar commercial projects. Dan is a cum laude graduate of the University of Minnesota Law School. Away from work, Dan enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids. |

DAN SINGEL
I consider myself an extension of my client. When a client comes to me, my job is to evaluate the situation, tell them their options, and then set my sights on doing whatever I can to maximize their position. My goal, always, is to leverage the best possible outcome for my client.
I also firmly believe that the aggressive pursuit of a client’s goals must be tempered by civility, every step of the way. I enjoy what I do, and I think that makes me a better lawyer.

Wall Drug v. Armstrong
Trial Win ( Million Claim)
Deborah Eckland and Dan Singel, along with local counsel, represented Defendant Armstrong Extinguisher in Wall Drug Store, Inc. v. Ansul Inc., et al. (Pennington County, South Dakota District Court, 2008). This was a high-profile products liability case in South Dakota involving the famous Wall Drug Store.
